Ed started his personal fitness journey as a Cardio Express member about ten years ago. With the help of the staff and community of members at Cardio Express, he lost over 50 pounds and was hooked. After spending almost ten years in the retail management world, Ed was inspired by his own fitness success and by the environment that Cardio Express provided. He became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and began working as an Assistant Manager with Cardio Express in 2015, ultimately advancing his career into a General Manager of our Wethersfield location. For Ed, there is no better feeling than accomplishing something you once thought was impossible of achieving. Whether it is reaching a new fastest time in a road race, hitting a new personal best for weight lifting, or conquering obstacles in an adventure race, he is always striving to take his performance to the next level. In addition to his focus on personal fitness goals, Ed loves the smiles on his members' faces when they realize the improvements with their health, happiness, and confidence as a result of a regular fitness routine. Ed lives by his favorite fitness quote..."The only bad workout is the one you didn't do!".

There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them."
